Disabled Scot promised £82k by scammers before falling victim to double con
Vulnerable Scots are believed to be losing millions of pounds a year to cryptocurrency scammers. Watchdogs have recorded more than £756,000 being lost online to international gangs in the past six months alone. That is believed to be the tip of the iceberg, as many victims choose not to report the crime.
